Description

The Ruce di Circe State Nature Reserve is characterized by the presence of pine forests and important archaeological finds. Inside the area, on the shores of Lake Paola, there is one of the most interesting archaeological complexes in Lower Lazio: the Villa of Domitian, dating back to the first century. A.D., which presents interesting constructions of thermal plants, huge cisterns and a bathing building.
