Beautiful shrub of Australian origin.

It is grown in the garden, in the ground, or in pots, in a sunny place, in fresh and rich, slightly acid soil.

It needs fairly regular summer watering, as it does not tolerate prolonged drought. Every 12-15 days we add fertilizer for flowering plants to the irrigating water.

In summer it produces particular panicles of red flowers, similar to large brilliant pipe cleaners; when the flowers wither it is advisable

remove them, because they tend to dry out, together with the tips of the branches that carry them: pruning, in addition to improving the aesthetic appearance of the plant, will also favor a denser bearing of the entire shrub.

They can fear the most intense frosts, so let's cover the shrubs in winter, using some agritessuto.
